The first issue we fixed with remote training was fixing the bat drag issue with the elbow leading.  We had been to a couple  private batting lessons here and no one had suggested we should fix that issue. The second issue Cruz had was not swinging with intent. He was more concerned about making contact than doing damage. The next big issue we are working on is timing.  He knew he had an issue with timing but you really have brought forward how much out front he was. Being able to submit constant videos from games and cage work allows us to constantly work on new issues week to week. Without remote training we would be stuck with the same issues.

The remote training program I personally believe has helped me to achieve more of my hitting goals and push me towards becoming a better hitter than ever before. I have seen all of my hitting metrics going up ever since I have started this program in the winter of 2025. My swing has since then become more fluid and smooth along with being able to become a better directional hitter with power behind the ball. Some of my favorite things about the remote training would be the availability to text coach along with being able to call with him to talk about the swing and how I am feeling mentally in this game of failure. One other thing that I love about the program is the videos and analysis videos I receive talking about some tweaks or adjustments I should make to help improve my swing mechanics in the big picture. Overall the bi-weekly calls have been my favorite thing and what has been able to help me the most with my struggles in this game and helping me to achieve my goals of playing baseball at the collegiate level some day.
